Job Description

This full-time position involves planning, coordinating, and leading project work and engineering assignments. As a Project Geotechnical Engineer, you will evaluate field and laboratory testing, perform field services, manage projects from start to finish, and communicate effectively with teammates, design professionals, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and select procedures based on specific project needs
  • Manage and execute all aspects of projects by planning, preparing proposals, budgets, scopes, schedules, and assigning necessary tasks to staff involved with the project(s)
  • Analyze, interpret, and evaluate data from field and laboratory findings
  • Communicate effectively and consistently with teammates, design professionals, and contractors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology
  • Familiarity with geology and site conditions in New England
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts, or ability to obtain P.E. within 1 year
  • Minimum 4 years of related engineering and project management experience, or demonstrated ability to perform essential functions
