Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to lead our clinical research team in the design, analysis, and reporting of studies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with clinical investigators, developing statistical analysis plans, and performing statistical analysis to inform study design and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead collaborations with clinical investigators to determine study design and contribute to protocol development
  • Author statistical analysis plans and perform statistical analysis to inform study design and outcomes
  • Write and present reports summarizing findings, including publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Manage statistical activities for clinical studies, including supervising biostatisticians and SAS programmers
  • Provide expert consultation on statistical methodology to projects across the company
  • Solve complex statistical problems and provide technical review of proposed statistical designs for research studies
  • Participate in statistical process development and improvement across the company
  • Present at statistical conferences and provide sound strategic, scientific, and statistical input to support client research projects
Requirements
  • Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of related experience with a Master's degree or 1 year of related experience with a PhD
  • Experience with methodological statistical research, including publication and/or presentation of work in statistical methods development
  • Demonstrated proficiency with statistical methods and applications in clinical research
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently, as well as in a team environment
