About the Role

The YMCA of the Seacoast is seeking two full-time Facilities Maintenance Technicians who are knowledgeable and highly motivated. These team members play a key role in ensuring the safety and physical upkeep of our facilities and grounds, while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the facilities and grounds are kept in safe, clean, and functioning order through the use of technical skills and collaboration with other facilities staff and outside vendors.
  • Perform light technical work, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other areas of work, as needed.
  • Conduct grounds-related work, such as mowing, shoveling snow, moving equipment, setting up outside venues, pest control, and more.
  • Assume custodial responsibilities, including cleaning of program areas, locker rooms, bathrooms, and offices.
  • Be the primary point of contact for resolving minor and day-to-day facilities-related issues, and seek assistance or elevate large projects as needed.
  • Effectively maintain knowledge of branch operations to proactively support ongoing events, programs, and needs.
