Position Summary

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused individual to take on the role of Area Manager within our organization. As an Area Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily operations, delivering outstanding customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our company. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple self-storage facilities, ensuring effective supervision of team members.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, setting the standard for the industry.
  • Oversee the training and compliance of new hires and ongoing employee development.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, while meeting financial objectives.
  • Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and compliance with company standards.
  • Organize quarterly auctions in accordance with state lien laws.
  • Monitor maintenance and operational efficiency across facilities.
  • Recruit and onboard new staff for open positions.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Proven management experience leading a team.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in multi-unit property management is preferred.
  • Background in sales and marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Accurate record-keeping and filing capabilities.
  • Experience with cash handling.
  • Mid-level math skills for auditing purposes.
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance, with willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform light physical activities.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with potential on-call duties during weekends.
  • Must reside within 25 miles of the designated market area or be open to relocation.
  • Access to home internet is required.
