Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and services, including governance and compliance.
- Provide leadership to programs/projects in the finance and accounting digital transformations, partnering with business leadership.
- Develop and implement strategies for staffing, people management, performance management, and scheduling and capacity planning.
- Lead the IT Finance and Accounting business applications team to provide strategy, implementation, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement.
- Coach, mentor, and manage staff to implement, maintain, and support all related software.
- Own all system configurations, integrations, workflows, reporting, and analytics in the area of finance and accounting.
- Participate in cross-functional programs/projects, analyzing, documenting, communicating changes, designing, and developing solutions considering the overall impact to current business processes, integrations, and reports.
- Manage service level agreements, incident and enhancement ticket management, and delivery of smaller projects.
- Partner with development, integration, and testing teams to produce quality solutions and timely results.
- Responsible for quarterly patch evaluation, analyzing new or changed functionality, developing test plans, unit testing, and coordinating with business users in testing activities to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement.
- Participate in M&A activities and understand the overall impact to current business processes, integrations, and reports, working with cross-functional business groups to lead/execute the integration plan.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or information technology from an accredited university.
- 6 or more years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
- 3 years of experience in utilizing and managing SAAS applications in the finance area.
- Solid experience in the implementation and support of a variety of ERP applications, preferably Oracle.
- Experience leading a digital transformation project within finance.
- Self-motivated, directed, and change-oriented.
- Solid customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate concepts in clear and concise language to management and cross-functional departments or teams verbally and in writing.
