Job Description

Eurofins EAG Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to work between customers, the Production Control department, and scientists to deliver client data in a timely and reliable manner.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively meeting the administrative support needs of the Engineering team and their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logs and tracks the receipt and shipment of all samples into and out of the lab.
  • Obtains purchase orders.
  • Labels and stores samples in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Maintains lab space as clean and organized.
  • May perform courier duties as necessary to support lab and client needs.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience supporting multiple departments and sites in a multi-functional fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail; integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
  • Strong customer service focus, highly organized, responsible, and detail oriented.
  • Work independently under time constraints and handle a multitude of tasks efficiently.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information:

Position is subject to ITAR government regulations (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment.
  • Ability to use a telephone, access file cabinets, receive and ship customer products.
  • Ability to sit for periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
  • Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
  • Ability to lift to 10 lbs.
