Production Control Coordinator

Eurofins EAG Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to work between customers, the Production Control department, and scientists to deliver client data in a timely and reliable manner.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively meeting the administrative support needs of the Engineering team and their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logs and tracks the receipt and shipment of all samples into and out of the lab.
- Obtains purchase orders.
- Labels and stores samples in accordance with documented procedures.
- Maintains lab space as clean and organized.
- May perform courier duties as necessary to support lab and client needs.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience supporting multiple departments and sites in a multi-functional fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail; integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
- Strong customer service focus, highly organized, responsible, and detail oriented.
- Work independently under time constraints and handle a multitude of tasks efficiently.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Information:
Position is subject to ITAR government regulations (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
Physical Requirements:
- Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment.
- Ability to use a telephone, access file cabinets, receive and ship customer products.
- Ability to sit for periods of time.
- Ability to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
- Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
- Ability to lift to 10 lbs.
