Job Summary:

The Financial Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health of the company and will work closely with the owner, finance team, and operational managers to support strategic decision making and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial models and scenario analysis to guide decision-making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance activities.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Supervise and mentor the Accounting team, including AP/AR personnel and payroll staff.
  • Manage banking relationships and optimize financing options.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required).
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in accounting.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; advanced Excel knowledge is required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably EPICOR) including consolidation reporting tools.
  • CPA Certification preferred.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
