Job Summary
This Nursing Assistant position plays a vital role in providing direct patient care and support services to assigned patients under the supervision of licensed nurses. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on empathy and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Provide designated and specified patient care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Record accurate and detailed information about patient progress and outcomes.
- Implement measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing their psychosocial needs and concerns.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related experience in a healthcare setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
