Job Summary

The Enrollment Specialist plays a crucial role in our Health Home Division, responsible for processing patient enrollments and updates into our lead health home database. This involves utilizing referral processes, reviewing and auditing enrollment segments, and obtaining final approval to process documents for enrollment and billing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Researches and verifies patient enrollments to ensure compliance with lead health home providers' regulatory requirements.
  2. Contacts outreach specialists to obtain additional missing documents prior to submission to the lead health home electronic portal.
  3. Communicates with the outreach team to guide them through the application and update process, ensuring all requirements are met.
  4. Documents communication notes and resolution outcomes with lead health providers.
  5. Ensures lead health home compliance by submitting all data sources through eCares and SharePoint, confirming accuracy of documents, and verifying revalidation documents are ready for upload.
  6. Verifies completeness and accuracy of all documents before uploading them into the lead health home systems.
  7. Responds to inquiries on enrollment status and update submissions to the outreach teams.
  8. Supports the department's administrative goals and requirements.
  9. Follows best practices and clinical standards, adhering to departmental and State guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • At least three years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service experience, preferably in a provider services call center or billing department.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other web-based platforms.
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently.
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of provider billing practices and claim processing.
Compensation

$21.00-$23.00 an hour
