Position Overview
This role is primarily responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured, packaged, and delivered to our clients adhere to established Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards.

The key responsibilities include conducting in-process mechanical inspections and receiving inspections of incoming hardware required for project assembly and final product delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all products manufactured, packaged, and shipped meet the established Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards.
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings, sample data, and other materials to assess, modify, or measure specifications or inspection and testing protocols.
  • Maintain and clean testing equipment and instruments, certifying that precision tools meet industry standards.
  • Conduct inspections for incoming and in-process products using appropriate inspection tools.
  • Collect samples for testing and analyze findings, discarding or rejecting products that do not meet specifications.
  • Inspect materials, products, and work in progress for compliance with specifications, adjusting processes or assembly equipment as necessary.
  • Document acceptance or rejection of items, recording test results and inspection data, and comparing findings against specifications.
  • Review maintenance logs to ensure proper functioning of plant equipment.
  • Test and measure finished products, components, or assemblies for operational accuracy and adherence to functional specifications.
  • Monitor and manage measurement and testing equipment for recalls and calibration.
  • Support the quality management system by conducting internal and process audits.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Experience and Skills:
In compliance with federal regulations, all candidates must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hire. Familiarity with CMM operation and programming, PCDMIS or similar software, and knowledge of ISO-9001:2015 and/or AS9001 standards is preferred. Experience with QMS software and ERP systems such as Costpoint, Gage Trak, and TIPQA is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is a plus. Knowledge of GD&T and machine shop experience is beneficial. IPC-610 experience or certification is also a plus. Understanding the practical application of engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment is essential.
