Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the AWS Optimization team. The team's mission is to provide cloud optimization products that enable customers to maximize their usage of the AWS cloud. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining, pricing, and packaging capabilities to address customer needs. You will work closely with engineering leaders to gather feedback and improve collaboration and engagement in service of delivering the right solution to AWS customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build roadmaps that reflect a bold vision, informed by customer priorities, and track progress toward launch goals with clarity and precision.
  • Partner with engineering leaders from product discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration to gather feedback and improve collaboration and engagement.
  • Establish customer and sales feedback mechanisms to synthesize feedback and consolidate feature requests.
  • Develop mechanisms to ensure product and solution requirements are complete, accurate, and work backwards from the customer.
  • Define solution value propositions for targeted categories, industries, or workloads and be accountable for the overall go-to-market plan.
About the Team

The AWS Optimization team is part of the Utility Computing organization, which provides product innovations that set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of this team, you will support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things, Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical product management experience with internet business experience.
  • 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience.
  • 3+ years of technical experience (software development, network development, IT, or related fields).
  • Experience in taking a product from conception and definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market.
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle.
