Job Overview

Position: Financial Records Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of two meticulous and organized Financial Records Specialists to support our client's accounting department for a temporary assignment. The selected individuals will collaborate with accounting professionals to ensure the accurate maintenance of financial accounts and documentation across various accounting functions.

This position entails gathering and interpreting financial information, aiding in the invoicing process, generating monthly performance reports, and facilitating the month-end reconciliation activities. The Financial Records Specialists will also be responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of transactions and journal entries, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and internal controls.


Remote Work: This position is fully remote.


Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a start time of either 08:00 am or 08:30 am, totaling 40 hours per week.


Compensation: $18.54 per hour


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist accounting professionals in maintaining precise financial accounts and records.
  • Collect and interpret financial data to support various accounting operations.
  • Facilitate the preparation and processing of invoices.
  • Generate monthly performance reports and assist with end-of-month reconciliations.
  • Review and confirm the accuracy of transactions and journal entries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Support general and cost accounting tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards is advantageous.

Compensation Details: $18.54 per hour
