Job Summary

This position serves as a key member of the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Student Affairs team, responsible for coordinating and implementing student conduct processes. The successful candidate will provide leadership, vision, and strategy for the student misconduct hearing committee members, including training and maintaining records.

Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Coordinates and participates in the investigation, adjudication, and processing of conduct cases, ensuring a fair and impartial process.
  • Student Support: Serves as a resource and advisor for students, faculty, and staff, clarifying procedures and options available in response to student behaviors.
  • Training and Development: Ensures that student conduct is administered in a fair, impartial, non-adversarial, restorative, and educational manner through the recruitment and training of conduct officers and the hearing board.
  • Community Outreach: May facilitate educational outreach programs to the university and surrounding community regarding issues relevant to student affairs.
  • Collaboration: Coordinates and trains student misconduct hearing committee members, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to student conduct.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years professional experience in student misconduct, preferably in a higher education setting.
Work Environment

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
