MCC is currently looking for a HVACR INSTALL TECHNICIAN. This role involves overseeing all aspects of installation activities. The primary goal is to execute the installation of commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to the company's established procedures and customer satisfaction standards through direct on-site work and coordination within the installation department. This position also emphasizes customer satisfaction, quality craftsmanship, and the management of all necessary documentation between the field and office.

Key Responsibilities

To excel in this role, the individual must effectively perform the following key responsibilities:

  1. Achieve company standards for installation quality and timelines.
  2. Execute heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment installation tasks in accordance with supervisor and customer specifications.
  3. Follow all safety policies and practices as mandated by the company and clients.
  4. Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and United Association regulations during all service activities.
  5. Document labor hours and materials used for all completed and ongoing projects using company-provided forms, adhering to established reporting procedures.
  6. Communicate effectively with various company personnel to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  7. Conduct all work efficiently and cost-effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  8. Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs with the appropriate personnel.
  9. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct that positively reflects the company image.
  10. Comply with the company's refrigerant management program.
  11. Operate heavy machinery and equipment as required.
  12. Work safely with hazardous materials and in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
  13. Travel to various job sites as needed.
  14. Maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that aligns with company policy.
  15. Demonstrate consistent alertness and safety awareness.
  16. Attend work regularly and punctually.
  17. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Exposure to diverse indoor and outdoor conditions, including loud noises, dust, and hazardous materials.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Capability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment components and installation procedures.
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools for installation and maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and team members.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.
  • Valid driver's license required.
