Job Overview

As a WIC Associate at St. Joseph's Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our patients by providing exceptional care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include intake screening to determine eligibility for our program, accurately entering data into our computer system, and printing and distributing WIC food instruments. You will also be responsible for conducting anthropometric and hematological screenings, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and responding to applicant inquiries. Additionally, you will maintain appointment schedules, organize supplies and equipment, and prepare and follow up on all sites as needed.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Less than one year of previous work-related experience
  • Blood work training required and provided by WIC
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
  • Valid driver's license with no pending violations and an acceptable driving record required
