At Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, we are committed to providing exceptional care to children with autism and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled Developmental Pediatrician to join our team at Marcus Autism Center and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes Spalding.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide clinical care, research support, and clinical training at two locations in Atlanta, Georgia. They will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide medical and developmental evaluations, follow-up care, and supervision of allied clinicians and clinical training for students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care within the respective clinical area, complying with Professional Staff Bylaws, rules, and regulations, and Children's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and incorporate Quality Improvement and research findings into practice.
  • Provide and/or serve as a resource for patient/family and staff education.
  • Supervise medical support personnel and assume basic administrative oversight of both clinical areas.
  • Actively respond to patient and clinical staff questions and requests.
  • Participate in meetings/activities as required to support operations of the clinical area.
Requirements
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Developmental Pediatrics.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS or PALS certification required.
  • Current DEA registration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in respective clinical area.
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school.
  • Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Pediatrics.
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Developmental Pediatrics.
