American Health Associates is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for obtaining blood samples from patients in various settings, including early morning routes, on-call, and home draw opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of phlebotomy procedures and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for properly identifying patients, labeling specimens, and transporting them to the laboratory for analysis.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality in our laboratory services.   • Obtain blood samples from patients in various settings, including early morning routes, on-call, and home draw opportunities.
  • Properly identify patients and label specimens according to established phlebotomy procedures.
  • Transport specimens to the laboratory for analysis.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Provide excellent patient care and ensure the highest level of quality in our laboratory services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy work experience required.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Clean driving record and proof of required auto insurance coverage.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited training school or equivalent preferred.
