Bakery Department Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Department Leader to join our team at City Market. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the bakery department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales and profit growth.

• Lead and manage the bakery department team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
• Develop and implement effective sales and profit growth strategies, including pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
• Monitor and control department expenses, ensuring adherence to budget and financial targets.
• Collaborate with store management and other departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall store performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a bakery or retail management role.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive results and improve processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
