Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Dispensary Associate to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As a key member of our optical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient experiences through the selection, measurement, ordering, and fitting of eyewear.

Key Responsibilities
  • Custom Eyewear Fitting: Fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses to ensure a perfect fit for each patient.
  • Optical Acumen: Act as a leader in optical knowledge, providing guidance and support to peers and contributing to the development of the practice as a premier destination for vision care.
  • Patient Engagement: Explore patients' needs and priorities through open-ended questioning, and strive to develop long-term solutions to problems and exceed patient expectations.
  • Point-of-Sale Operations: Operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy and attention to detail, inputting patient information and managing time with competing priorities.
  • Team Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with doctors and practice staff to ensure high-quality patient care and achieve exceptional results on individual and team goals.
  • Store Appearance and Security: Take pride in maintaining a clean, attractive, and organized dispensary appearance, and secure and protect company assets within your control.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong communication, listening, and team-building skills.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Sales Skills: Sales skills and ability to meet sales targets.
  • Technology: Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale systems and patient record systems.
