Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse Job Description

CrossMed is seeking a skilled Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

  • Specialty: Pediatric Emergency Room

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours

As a Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in a fast-paced emergency room setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose patients with a range of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a Pediatric Emergency Room setting
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
