Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Arnot Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide specialized therapeutic knowledge and expertise to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal medication management and patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines for clinical pharmacy activities.
  • Coordinate medication use evaluation and quality initiatives to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with staff members and provide information relevant to clinical activities.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and committees to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care and clinical activities.
  • Stay current with developments in the profession of pharmacy through continuing education and professional literature.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD degree.
  • Pharmacy New York State License or License eligible.
  • Three years of experience in a comparable clinical setting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire date.
Working Conditions

This role requires some physical effort, including lifting light objects and occasional lifting of 40lbs. The work environment is Category III, with no exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissue.
