Job Summary

Maintain a high standard of overall store appearance, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver our Brand Promises. Provide friendly customer service, assist customers in finding products, and ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high-traffic areas.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly, notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, in keeping with the organization's vision and values.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
Work Environment
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Public retail store setting, climate-controlled environment, some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks.
  • Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.
