Maintenance Associate Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the building, conveyor system, grounds, and utility systems at the direction of management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of the conveyor system, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
  • Direct and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and contractors to maintain the building and grounds, including daily and weekly cleaning schedules, repairs, and renovations.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized at all times.
  • Manage the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure it is neatly organized and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate repair services for company vehicles and maintain the office cleanliness.
  • Perform outdoor maintenance tasks, including grass cutting and snow removal.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No minimum experience required.
  • Results-oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and/or within a team, with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position at times, communicate, and operate a computer and telephone.

Competencies:

  • Accountable for meeting own targets, with work reviewed periodically.
  • Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
