Job Overview:

We're seeking a highly motivated and fashion-forward Sales Associate to join our team at Loft in North Wales, PA. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving revenue by providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with clients, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained store environment.

Client Experience:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating client needs and exceeding expectations
  • Build relationships with clients, create loyalty, and multitask while servicing internal and external clients
  • Address client concerns, resolve issues, and involve management when necessary
  • Portray a gracious, friendly, energetic, and engaging manner while being respectful and professional
  • Take ownership, solicit feedback, and incorporate it for professional growth and development
  • Communicate effectively with management, team members, and external clients
  • Build collaborative and productive relationships by sharing ideas, treating others fairly, and valuing differences

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, practices, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws
Operations:
  • Complete opening and closing procedures, including replenishing merchandise, recovering the store, and processing shipments
  • Meet merchandise processing standards and maintain an organized work area
  • Adhere to Loss Prevention practices and report potential incidents to ensure shortage control and protect company assets
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards to management
  • Participate in inventory preparation and assist with other tasks as assigned
  • Report to work as scheduled, record time accurately, and remain flexible to meet business needs
  • Follow all company operational guidelines, processes, and procedures
  • Review bulletin boards daily
Technical Expertise:
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn and navigate company computer systems
  • Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently
  • Be proficient in using Distributed Order Maintenance (DOM's) and StyleFinder to locate product and process transactions accurately
  • Operate the phone, answering calls with a greeting, transferring, and placing calls on hold
  • Operate and understand the functions of the Point of Sale (POS) system
Product/Brand Management:
  • Understand and articulate the company's brand positioning, including current marketing initiatives, markdowns, and lifestyle concepts
  • Live the company's purpose, values, and behaviors in all interactions
  • Participate in store meetings and attend training sessions
  • Proactively use associate education tools to build product and styling knowledge
  • Embody the brand by adhering to company dress code guidelines
  • Packages and wraps client purchases according to company standards
Requirements:
  • Client Service: Ability to function as a role model, ensuring the client remains the top priority
  • Follow Directions: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain with company guidelines
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, management, business partners, and team members
  • Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error
  • Schedule: Remain flexible in scheduling to meet business needs
  • Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally, maneuver around the sales floor and stock room
Educational Requirements and Experience:
  • Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year sales associate or relevant experience in the services industry with proven results
