The Bingo Sales and Customer Service Representative is responsible for selling bingo cards and/or electronic units to customers, maintaining accurate bank records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bingo rules and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Service: Sell bingo cards and/or electronic units to customers, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Bank Maintenance: Count and maintain accurate bank records, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
- Caller Duties: Call out numbers over the microphone, provide instructions to customers, and announce the amount of money to be won.
- Guest Relations: Assist customers in learning and playing bingo, provide information and instructions, and ensure that all guests have a positive experience.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the bingo room.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Six months of bingo experience and one year of customer service experience required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong understanding of bingo rules and procedures.
- Licenses and Certifications: Gaming license required.
Working Conditions:
The Bingo Sales and Customer Service Representative will work in a fast-paced bingo room environment, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time during shifts. The ideal candidate will be able to lift 25 pounds and work calmly and professionally in stressful situations.
