Responsibilities:


The House Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who takes on administrative responsibility for managing all departmental service functions during their shift.

This role involves making regular rounds throughout the facility to monitor care delivery, oversee service quality, and direct patient care activities as necessary.

The House Supervisor directly supervises, supports, and communicates with all staff across the hospital.

In the absence of Hospital Administrative staff, the scope of administrative responsibility extends to all services within the hospital.

Ensures efficient operations and patient flow throughout the facility, providing direct patient care as needed within the scope of practice and competence.

Ensures that all temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented in accordance with hospital policy.

Assists medical staff with scheduling after-hours procedures and contacting standby staff members.

Enhances the patient and family experience through supportive interactions and clear explanations of hospital policies as needed.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain it.
  • ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain it.
  • One (1) year of prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of acute care nursing experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.


San Dimas Community Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $49.05 to $67.33.

The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering a wide range of factors, including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
