Job Summary:

The Control Systems Maintenance Specialist is tasked with the design and implementation of control systems. This role involves performing electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and associated support systems. Candidates will be expected to troubleshoot and repair designated equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities include completing work orders and documenting findings, actions, and feedback. The specialist will also perform preventive maintenance tasks and assist in identifying and implementing reliability improvements while adhering to company safety policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot failures and disturbances in process instruments, control valves, motor control circuits, and programmable logic controllers.
  • Conduct online/offline downloads, tune control loops, and resolve issues with software programs.
  • Engage in preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Plan and layout work, interpreting blueprints, manuals, and specifications.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and equipment safely to complete diverse work assignments.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial Instrument and Electrical Technician, with proficiency in DCS and Allen Bradley PLC controls, HMI's, and software.
  • Advanced electrical/instrumentation degree or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and Boiler controls.
  • Familiarity with fire systems and controls.
  • A commitment to continuous learning as technology evolves.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Work Availability:

Regular and predictable attendance is crucial for this position. Applicants should be available to work Monday to Friday during assigned hours and additional hours as necessary to meet business needs.
