The Role

As a Home Evaluation Specialist, you will be part of our team that goes on-site with our members to document the property, systems, and deferred maintenance issues. You will need to have a broad-based understanding of residential housing, including technical knowledge and relationship-building skills. This role is key to providing exceptional customer service and building a terrific place to work.

Responsibilities
  • Document property conditions and identify deferred maintenance issues
  • Provide technical knowledge and guidance to our members
  • Build rapport with our members and provide exceptional customer service
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Identify routine preventive maintenance options and safety concerns
Requirements
  • Broad property and maintenance knowledge
  • Experience in home evaluation/inspection (2+ years)
  • Trade certifications are a plus
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to manage challenging clients
  • Ability to work independently, is self-directive, and detail-oriented
