About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Support Specialist to join our team at Alterra Mountain Company. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide exceptional technical support to our employees, ensuring seamless access to our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-tier end-user support and customer service to helpdesk tickets for corporate employees, including VIP technical support for executive leadership team members as needed
  • Triage helpdesk tickets quickly and accurately, documenting detailed notes
  • Support, repair, configure, and upgrade Windows and Mac desktop and laptop workstations
  • Provide basic support and troubleshooting of Ricoh copying, scanning, and printing technologies
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding/offboarding process by provisioning/deprovisioning IT hardware, software, and associated accounts and access for new hires or departing employees
  • Administer software license entitlements, maintaining and updating inventory as required
  • Troubleshoot A/V equipment and assist users with meeting technology setup and configuration, including special user requirements for events
  • Provide regular reporting on usage, resources, problems, changes, and other technical utilization statistics as needed
  • Collaborate with operations, systems, and network teams to determine and resolve issues, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Move and reconfigure hardware to accommodate personnel changes and needs
  • Assist with maintaining a detailed inventory of all corporate IT assets and ensure proper technical inventory levels are maintained, alerting team members of low inventories
  • Provide mobile device and VOIP phone support
  • Maintain technical standards and processes
Requirements
  • Exemplary customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing Windows PC and Mac laptop and desktop computers in an enterprise Active Directory domain environment, including system deployment/imaging and specifically SCCM/OSD, Intune, and Jamf
  • Knowledge and experience managing Active Directory users, computers, and security groups
  • Some knowledge of network infrastructure concepts, including enterprise WiFi, wired/ethernet switching and cabling, IP addressing
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office suite and M365 integration with OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Teams
  • Experience managing user file shares, file services, and related technologies
  • Knowledge of enterprise video conferencing, specifically Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
  • Experience with computer room/data center racking, cabling, power, and basic device troubleshooting
  • Proficient in communicating technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Persistent and creative problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-year degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • A+ Certification
Compensation and Benefits

Denver area base hourly pay range: $24.04 to $33.65 per hour. Alterra Mountain Company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance, EAP, HSAs, FSAs, and more.
