We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Defense Associate Attorney to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our defense litigation team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal support and guidance to our clients in the field of civil defense litigation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct and support investigation on all assigned cases to ensure thorough and accurate analysis.
- Analyze and assess case value to aid in early resolution and optimize client outcomes.
- Comply with all litigation and budgeting guidelines to ensure efficient and cost-effective case management.
- Perform in-depth legal research on relevant issues throughout the litigation process to provide informed and strategic guidance.
- Prepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearings to ensure they are fully prepared and confident.
- Prepare responsive pleadings for filing with the appropriate court to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Respond to written discovery and law and motion to ensure prompt and effective communication with opposing counsel.
**Requirements:**
- Juris Doctorate degree and current good standing with the State bar is required.
- Minimum 1-7 years of experience working in the Civil Defense Litigation field is preferred.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills (oral and written) are essential for success in this role.
