Job Summary

We are seeking a Corporate Security Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the overall security of our properties and personnel. The successful candidate will implement security measures, report physical security issues, and conduct regular security checks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure the overall security of property and personnel
    • Implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access
    • Conduct regular security checks, including burglar alarm tests and patrols
    • Respond to alarms and dispatched calls, taking appropriate action
    • Identify and report physical security issues
  • Building Safety
    • Conduct monthly Area of Rescue tests, fire extinguisher inspections, and drills
    • Participate in the Store Support Center Emergency Response Team
    • Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services
  • Merchandise and Inventory Protection
    • Enforce control of vendor samples and field test policies
    • Investigate instances of internal and external theft
    • Assist in implementing surveillance tools to enhance the investigative process
  • General Functions
    • Engage with teammates to promote a safe and friendly environment
    • Assist teammates with safety needs, such as jumpstarts and parking lot escorting
    • Provide a smooth and pleasant check-in process for visitors
    • Partner with Human Resources to provide escorts for departing teammates

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in physical security and safety
