Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Marketing Strategist plays a crucial role in supporting Lubrizol's business by formulating and implementing marketing strategies that align with strategic business goals. This position serves as the primary contact for marketing initiatives and oversees projects from inception to completion. The role supports the North America business and key global segments, requiring collaboration with colleagues worldwide in this highly matrixed organization.

Essential Duties:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans for the Footwear global segment, enhancing market visibility, engagement, and business expansion.
• Formulate, align, and implement marketing strategies for new business development markets and strategic OEMs, presenting program recommendations to commercial leaders that directly support their business objectives.
• Assess the complete customer experience across various channels and touchpoints, identifying opportunities for marketing optimization. Create and manage customer segments and journeys, continuously testing and tracking to ensure optimal user experience outcomes.
• Measure and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, evaluating effectiveness against objectives, costs per outcome, and insights for future programming, utilizing knowledge of web analytics tools.
• Design and manage marketing campaigns that encompass content creation and promotion across multiple channels, ensuring consistent messaging that resonates with target audiences and is measurable.
• Establish and maintain exceptional internal and external experiences through websites and other interactive platforms to maximize lead generation using search engine optimization and other techniques.
• Identify deficiencies in sales tools, create new marketing materials, and support the upkeep of existing marketing collateral.
• Oversee tradeshows and customer events as necessary.
• Collaborate with regional counterparts to ensure aligned strategies and the sharing of best practices.
• Exhibit adaptability and a willingness to undertake new responsibilities and assignments related to various product lines or regions as business needs evolve.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of experience in marketing communications and project management within a B2B or B2B2C environment.
• Proven experience in developing and executing traditional and digital marketing communication plans that drive business results.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and fostering strong customer relationships.
• Strong writing abilities across various communication media, including the capacity to translate technical information into compelling marketing messages.
• Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing best practices and trends, including SEO, with the ability to develop and influence innovative marketing concepts and techniques.
• Demonstrated history of utilizing CRM systems to achieve results.
• Solid understanding of digital analytics, metrics, and client feedback research, with the ability to interpret data for informed decision-making; advanced proficiency with web reporting and analytics tools.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and focused on delivering measurable outcomes.
• Able to effectively manage multiple projects and timelines concurrently.
• Willingness to travel (up to 10%).
