Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

At Allan Myers, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting construction materials to various job sites in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicles to ensure maximum safety conditions.
  • Pickup materials (dirt, stone, or asphalt) and deliver them to job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
  • Communicate regularly with dispatchers to ensure delivery schedules are met and any issues are reported promptly.
  • Comply with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair as outlined in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
  • One year of CDL driving experience in a vehicle with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater.
  • Previous dump truck experience preferred.
