Oncology RN Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Maine. As a valued member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.

**Job Summary:**
Supplemental Health Care is committed to delivering world-class care and service in healthcare staffing. We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN to provide direct patient care, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cancer treatment options, side effects, and management strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and outcomes

**Requirements:**
- Current Maine Nursing License
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- 2 years of recent Oncology nursing experience

The estimated weekly payment for this opportunity is $2,502 - $2,695, depending on the number of hours worked and shift availability.
