Position Overview

The City of St Clair Shores is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Counselor in our Adaptive Playground Program.

This program is designed to provide a supportive and engaging environment for participants with diverse abilities.

Counselors will be expected to commit to a full-time schedule, working outdoors in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support individuals with various disabilities
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all participants
  • Assist in the development and execution of a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games, and educational projects
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members to ensure a positive experience for all

No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and orientation will be provided upon hiring.
