The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the Emergency Room at Methodist Hospital Texsan. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse.
- Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- 1 year of experience required.
Methodist Hospital Texsan is a 120-bed acute care hospital that remains one of South Texas's premier heart and orthopedic hospitals. We are certified in chest pain and heart failure with comprehensive cardiac services. Our orthopedic services, including the Joint Replacement Academy and the Center for Spine, hold some of the best clinical results in the industry.
