We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization, Friends of Mascoma Foundation, in achieving its mission of fostering educational advancements and ensuring nutritional well-being for students and families within the Mascoma Valley Regional School District.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive organizational growth and success
  • Lead a team of professionals in achieving program goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community partners, and Board of Directors
Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development:
    • Design and implement programs to support students, educators, and the community
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions
  • Community Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote organizational visibility and reputation
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
    • Ensure effective use of resources to achieve organizational goals
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve program goals and objectives
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and productivity
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit Management, Business, Social Services, or a related field
  • Over three years of leadership experience in strategic planning, program development, fiscal management, policy implementation, and staff supervision
  • Strong strategic leadership, project planning, and performance management skills
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with donors, colleagues, grantors, volunteers, board members, and community partners
  • Experience in effective communication and collaboration with a Board of Directors
  • Outstanding presentation, public relations, and communication skills, with a background in serving as a spokesperson and relationship builder
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Squarespace, Salesforce, and social media platforms
