Job Summary:

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our inpatient Hospitalist team at SUNY Upstate Medical University. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with physicians to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical management of patients admitted to the Hospitalist service, working independently with physician supervision.

• Participate in treatment teams and develop and implement patient treatment care plans, recording progress notes and monitoring therapeutic interventions.

• Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens.

• Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive inpatient care and contribute to the development of treatment plans.

Requirements:

• NYS license

• ACLS & BLS certification

• Current CPR certification

• NCCPA Certification or NP ANCC

• 2 – 3 years of experience in Hospitalist medicine preferred.
