Job Summary:

The Upstate University Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team of Advanced Practice Providers. As a key member of our inpatient team, you will provide exceptional care to patients admitted to our Pediatric Hospitalist services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level clinical care and coordination of care for patients, including assessing and evaluating patients, ordering laboratory testing and diagnostic studies, and arranging for referrals and therapeutic services.
  • Maintain outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians, and all members of the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required.
  • Current National Certification consistent with clinical practice required.
  • NPI number and Medicare enrollment with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) required.
  • CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred.
