  • Prepare beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences, utilizing the appropriate equipment and following best practices for transactions.
  • Engage customers with product samples to introduce them to new items and inform them about current promotions.
  • Ensure customers receive their orders accurately and in the correct portion sizes to minimize waste.
  • Advise customers on coffee shop selections to meet their needs and preferences.
  • Utilize all coffee shop equipment, including refrigerators, freezers, and espresso machines, in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Conduct quality checks on products to guarantee freshness and take necessary actions based on sell-by dates.
  • Properly operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
  • Label, stock, and manage inventory of merchandise efficiently.
  • Report any discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the department manager.
  • Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions and seasonal offerings.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and identify any unsafe conditions, reporting them to management.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and notify management of any repairs needed.
  • Report any incidents involving customers or employees to management, including safety risks or illegal activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Desired: Previous experience in a similar role.
