Barista

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Barista to join our team at Fry's Food Stores, a part of the Kroger family of companies. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

• Create a welcoming environment for customers, answering questions about products and services.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold in the department, responding to customer inquiries and making suggestions.
• Collaborate with associates to achieve company/store goals, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Prepare beverage selections to recipe and standards, tender transactions, and offer product samples to customers.
• Recommend coffee shop items to customers, ensuring they receive the products they want and need.
• Use equipment according to company guidelines, preparing, packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients.
• Check product quality, ensuring freshness and reviewing sell-by dates.
• Reinforce safety programs, complying with safety procedures and identifying unsafe conditions.
• Practice preventive maintenance, inspecting equipment and notifying management of any issues.

We are looking for individuals with excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a positive experience for our customers. Previous comparable experience is desired, but not required.
