Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance projects, including assembling bill of materials and working with management on upgrades and modifications
  • Participate in task meetings, suggesting changes in work tasks and use of equipment to increase efficiencies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights; ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
