Public Works Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Public Works Maintenance Technician to join our team at the City of Pleasant Hill. As a key member of our Public Works Department, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our city's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a variety of equipment to repair and maintain roads, bridges, and other public infrastructure.
  • Work collaboratively with our Water, Sewer, Stormwater, Asphalt, and Streets teams to ensure the smooth operation of our city's infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of tools and equipment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements is required, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or training program completion.
