Key Responsibilities:
  • Detailing and procuring ductwork and fittings to support the replacement and enhancement of air handling units, HVAC systems, rooftop installations, and commercial kitchen exhaust systems.
  • Collaborating with a team and working independently to ensure the upkeep of all restaurant equipment.
  • Assisting in the cleaning, servicing, and rewiring of HVAC and refrigeration units, cooking appliances, and other equipment.
  • Providing insights on manufacturing processes and designs to lower costs, enhance serviceability, and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Coordinating with construction and maintenance teams on ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
  • Exemplary professional demeanor.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation.
  • In-depth knowledge of current mechanical codes, equipment retrofits, air distribution, and modifications to AC grilles and diffusers.
  • Proficient in measuring, detailing, and ordering ductwork and fittings for air handling units and rooftop equipment.
  • Capability to perform basic sheet metal layout and fabrication.
  • Understanding of venting requirements for gas appliances.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Skill in managing and prioritizing multiple projects.
  • Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel out of state and work overnight as needed.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with commercial hood systems is advantageous.
