Sanitation Technician Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our plant and grounds. This is a critical role that requires a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure equipment is clean and operational
  • Operate and maintain sanitation equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and steam cleaners
  • Conduct on-the-job training of new team members and assist in training activities
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintain accurate cleaning records and ensure compliance with SSOPs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in manufacturing or light industrial environment preferred
  • Forklift certification required
  • Sanitation experience in food manufacturing or food safety preferred
