**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Program Manager to join our team at Spectra Human Services. As a key member of our Client Care Team, you will be responsible for overseeing a caseload of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities who receive services in residential settings.

About the Role:

The Residential Program Manager provides case management services to individuals on the DD waivers, who receive services in their own homes or in a host home environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, members of their Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), coworkers, and family members.
  • Provide Intensive Case Management services for assigned clients, including maintaining client master files, ensuring all documentation is completed monthly, and conducting both announced and unannounced visits in various settings.
  • Serve as the primary contact for residential-related services, assist in training and implementing client care plans collaboratively with other team members, and provide initial and ongoing trainings with providers.
  • Work with the in-house nursing team to assure that medications are appropriately handled, discrepancies are reported, and proper documentation is completed.
  • Communicate with Social Security and Medicaid to maintain and establish eligibility for services.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Services, Special Education, Social Work, or related field; or High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Possess a coachable and positive attitude, computer literacy, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner, set boundaries, resolve conflict, and de-escalate issues.
  • Dependable, able to work under pressure, receptive to change, displays a willingness to learn, and cooperative approach to problem-solving.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance, and able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels.

Working Environment:

This role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at the computer. You must be able to attend meetings that may last up to 3 hours in person and remotely, lift up to 15 pounds at a time, and drive to and from meetings in the community.
