Job Summary

Vaya Health is seeking a highly skilled Workforce Development Coordinator to join our team. This is a grant-funded, time-limited position until 6/30/2026, with no current confirmation of extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, updating, and implementing the Workforce Development Plan, as well as providing support to Vaya network providers and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and update the Workforce Development Plan in collaboration with the Provider Advisory Council (PAC) and Vaya Health.
  • Provide education and training to PAC, network providers, and community stakeholders on the Workforce Development Plan.
  • Collaborate with Vaya Provider Network to assist with hiring and recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct employment-related research and assist the recruitment team with electronic and other methods of sourcing qualified candidates.
  • Provide support coordination of recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.
  • Participate in and provide analytical support in design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience project managing large and complex engagements.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience coordinating across different types of stakeholders.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in provider/staff/corporate recruitment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience serving or working with BH and I/DD populations is preferred.
  • Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification preferred but not required.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities. The successful candidate will be required to reside in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the North Carolina border.
