- Community Hospital with 64 Beds
- Utilizes Epic EMR with Dragon Dictation for efficiency
Clinical Coverage Includes:
- Ultrasound Services
- Emergency Department Bedside Ultrasound
- In-House Radiology during the day and Tele-Radiology at night
- Psychiatric Services
- Anesthesia Support
- 3-Bed Intensive Care Unit
- Pulmonary Services
- Line Service Management
- Orthopedic Services
- Hospitalist Coverage
- General Surgery
- Cardiology
- Neurology
Program Overview and Working Hours
- 20-Bed Emergency Department, including a 6-Bed Fast Track area
- Annual Emergency Department Visits: 19,000
- Physician Shifts: 12 hours (7 AM - 7 PM, 7 PM - 7 AM)
- APP Shifts: 10 hours (12 PM - 10 PM)
Candidate Qualifications
- Possession of an active Connecticut medical license or eligibility for an unrestricted state license
- Must be a Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner
- Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
