The primary role of the Accounts Receivable Manager is to ensure the accurate collection and representation of the facility's accounts receivable.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A High School diploma is mandatory. Experience in healthcare accounting and/or billing is advantageous but not essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Some background in accounting is required.
Proficiency in computer usage is necessary.
Ability to type and operate various office equipment is expected.
On-the-job training will be provided to ensure proper management of administrative tasks in accordance with established policies, along with offsite training at central accounting offices.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective interaction with the public.Ability to engage with a diverse range of employees, residents, and their families is crucial.
Significant initiative and sound judgment are required to foster positive public relations.
Candidates must be personable, polite, and possess a keen memory for details.
A pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening examination is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage resident billing and collections in accordance with established procedures.
Document facility census information on a daily basis.
Participate in daily and weekly mandatory facility meetings.
Understand insurance coverage for residents to appropriately manage their medical bills and supplies.
Perform duties related to the Resident Trust Fund as assigned.
Provide accurate information regarding admission criteria and associated rates.
Familiarize oneself with the admission folder and the procedures for new admissions.
Input relevant information about new residents into the computer system.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all office procedures and systems.
Answer phone calls as necessary.
Assist the Administrator with additional tasks as directed.

Frequently engaged in activities such as administrative filing, making copies, faxing documents, delivering messages, and transporting orders to various locations.

Occasionally necessary for restocking office supplies and managing administrative records.

Occasionally required for transporting administrative supplies and packages.
