Job Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted support to students in reading and math through small group instruction and pull-out services.
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.
  • Assess and analyze student data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and intervention strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; Master's degree preferred.
  • Elementary and/or middle school teaching experience preferred.
  • NYS certification in content area or working towards certification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
